Karen K. Witt (Hearn) Obituary

January 9, 1955 - August 25, 2010

Karen Kay Hearn RAPID CITY - Karen Kay (Witt) Hearn, 55, Rapid City, joined the Lord Aug. 25, 2010. Born in Rapid City on Jan. 9, 1955, to Robert and Doretta Witt, she called the Black Hills home her entire life, graduating from Rapid City Central High in 1973 and working for Merrillat Industries for 22 years.
A faithful follower of the Lord, Karen was a member of Black Hills Fellowship Church, enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends, walking, hiking and praying in the Black Hills.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert James Witt, on Jan. 17, 2005.
Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Cameron A. Hearn of Rapid City; mother, Doretta Witt of Rapid City; sister, Pamela Weikum (Rod) of Casper, Wyo.; and three nieces, Anne Marie McDermott of Casper, Sherrie Kroman (Erik) of Arlington, Wash., and DeAnna Clark (Mark) of Denver.
A special mention for Debbie Hazel (David) and their children. They have a special place in our hearts and family. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Rapid City's Black Hills Fellowship Church with Pastor Nathan Ennis officiating.
